Did you ever pretend to be in Jurassic Park when you were a kid? Maybe not the getting attacked by dinosaurs part, but all the other fun stuff? Exctingly, the Dallas Zoo is having an adult only day on June 6th where you can live out all of your childhood dreams. This means you'll get a look at their latest dino exhibit and have a drink or two with no kids around.
The event will feature drinking stations throughout ZooNorth, as well as food options, in case you get snackish. Some of the restaurants you'll find include Prime Meridian Café, Coop on the Fly food truck, Dippin’ Dots, Sweet Treats and Otter Falls. There will also be a beer garden so you won't have to face any of the massive robotic dinos sober.
The zoo will have "do it for the 'gram" photo stations set up all around the dino exhibit so you will have plenty of opportunities to take amazing pics. If pics with dinos aren't enough to thrill you, you will also have access to the children's zoo which includes the most adorable petting zoo. There you will also be able to take tons of pics with the cutest of animals.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibit at their fullest by participating in all the dino-related activities. This means you will have the chance to hold baby dinos as well as enjoy talks by a paleontologist that might give us a clue as to what these enormous reptiles were really like. You must be 21 years of age or older to attend the event and tickets are just $17.
If you happen to be a member of the Dallas Zoo, the event is free of charge. Dino night will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. You can stay updated with the event in case of changes by following the event Facebook page here.
