Spooky things are coming and we can't wait! While we might celebrate heroes year-round, Fort Worth is giving villains a chance to shine. The Spooky Spectacle is convention is happening this weekend at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, and it's sure to bring the fright.
On Sept. 14 and 15, and at only $10 a day, all your favorite scary and edgy convention topics will be celebrated. Spooky Spectacle centers around paranormal, horror, sci-fi, and fantasy, so don't be too surprised if you run into an alien or two. Visitors will be able to attend workshops where they can learn how to do simple special effects makeup and even encounter some awesome pop-culture characters. Special guests Daniel Midkiff and Miko Hughes, both from the 1989's Pet Sematary, will be there too.
Tickets will be sold at the door for both days. With tons of great things to see the event surely can't be missed. DFW Ghostbusters will be there to protect you from any unwanted paranormal activities you might run into. Also, check out Vendors Alley where there'll be tons of amazing spooky things to buy. The alley will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Being a fan of all things spooky is amazing this time of year because there is just so much to do, like hunting down zombies with paintball guns at Zombie safari. Zombies, not your thing? How about aliens? Alien Con will be making its way to Dallas for even more spooktacular fun this October.
