Late September in Texas is when our version of fall finally starts to pick up. If you're looking for things to do to celebrate the season, we've got you covered. You have to check out this two-acre corn maze in Grapevine. Hall's Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze will open on Sept. 27 and we just can't wait. The maze is about nine feet tall and has tons of dead ends, twists, and turns.
The maze is tons of fun during the day and you're guaranteed to get some amazing pics. You can also try the maze at night if you're in the mood for something a little spooky but you do have to bring your own flashlights. If you're lucky, you can catch the back end of sunflower season at the farm while you walk around and explore. They also offer hayrides that stop to feed the cow and donkeys on the way back from the maze.
Visitors can also check out their seasonal pumpkin patch. Some of their pumpkins are at up to 12 feet long! Guests can take pics with all the pumpkins and they have tons of pumpkin-flavored treats. This year they added a Harvest Moon Cafe so you will have tons more to do while you enjoy a nice day out.
Most of the awesome activities are $3 to $5 per person so you can explore without breaking the bank. The farm is open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Once you're done here you can head on over to Pumpkin Nights for some more autumn pumpkin fun. If you're looking for some frights during this spooky season, you can check out Cutting Edge for some chilling fun.
