You Can Celebrate St. Patty's Day On A Boozy Adult-Only Train Ride In Texas This Weekend
Destination: end of the rainbow!
You don't have to wear green to get some good luck during St. Patricks Day in Texas. This year, you can celebrate all things green and Irish culture on the adult-only Kiss Me I'm Irish train ride in Grapevine, Texas.
On Saturday, March 14, you catch the luckiest train on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.
This railroad is located in the historic downtown Grapevine and imitates authentic 1920s Victorian coaches.
Throughout the year, you can hop on the train for other events like the f, Jazz Wine ride, or Witches Brew ride. The train operates every weekend in the summer from Memorial Day weekend until and mid-August.
Tickets are $39 each, and only available for those 21+.
Tickets include a boarding pass, two craft brews (more available at an extra fee), Irish-style hors d'oeuvres, and a souvenir craft brew mug to keep, because, if you party like a true Irish, you probably won't remember a thing in the morning.
The train departs at 7:30 p.m. and doors close at 7:20 p.m., so don't plan on being fashionably late. They recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure, and tickets are non-refundable.
The train will return around 9:30 p.m., so prepare to celebrate for a good hour and a half (at least). And don't forget to secure that DD or schedule an Uber. The Irish love their booze.
And while you're in Grapevine, don't forget to check out, or the .
Someone pinch me! Not because I failed to wear green, but because this exciting event is almost too good to be true.
