Visitors are also allowed to canoe and kayak on the water.
Surrounding the lake is nine miles of wilderness trails to explore with both hiking and biking routes. There are camping grounds just outside the lake by the trails or you can head to the other side of the water and stay at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center near all of the great local shops and the mall.
The lake is free to visit and is open 24 hours a day. With its beautiful waters and tons of amazing activities, the lake is perfect for a hot summer day out in the sun and in the blue water.
