NASA Is Launching A New Holiday Tradition This Year & It's Out Of This World
It's gonna be a space jam for sure.
Holiday traditions are great, but no rule says you can't add a new one every year. NASA is kicking off a new holiday tradition this year. Now you'll be able to experience the most technologically advanced lights in Texas.
The lights will be above the main plaza and move in specific choreographed movements that really only NASA could make. There will be several interactive learning stations that show you the magic behind the incredible lights. The stations allow you to change the color of the lights, too, so you can be a part of the tradition.
There will also be videos playing all around, showing how astronauts spend the holidays in space. You'll be able to snap a few pics at their photo stations, some which even let you feel like you're genuinely in space. A s'mores pit will be in full swing, so feel free to stop by for a bite.
One of the coolest parts of this new tradition has to be the indoor meteor shower. The shower will take you through a tunnel of lights synchronized with holiday music. Indoor star gazing is also possible with their indoor star tour.
If that wasn't enough, you'll also be able to experience 3-D projections of rockets going on a journey into space. Tickets are $20, and you can stop by from November 16 through January 5. This new tradition is sure to take you out of this world.
While you wait for this celebration to kick-off, check out, where you can actually play with snow. They have tons of games, and you can even jump into a life-sized snow globe.
