This North-East Texas Lake Is The Perfect Blue Water Hangout Spot For The Summer
Nothing but fresh waters ahead
Texas is the land of wonderful sights of all kinds! It's a great place to spend your summer because there will always be something to explore. One spot that is perfect for your summer bucket list is the Richland Chambers Reservoir where the water is blue and there are so many amazing things to try.
The Reservoir is a great place for anyone looking to fish as there are plenty of catfish around. There are also about 330 miles of shoreline for anyone who wants to catch some sun. With its 44,752 acres, this is the third largest inland lake in the state of Texas. In fact, the lake is so large that it became the water source for Tarrant County.
While there, you might see visitors waterskiing as the lake is a popular place for boating and watersports. The waters are secluded, meaning you'll have uninterrupted views of the water and shore. There are several restaurants around a few miles from the area that have live music and drinks all night long.
There is no entry fee for the lake and as long and as you have your fishing licence you are good to go but, we do suggest you visit their website to stay up to date with their fishing regulations. There are no lifeguards on duty and the water is 75 feet deep so we suggest being extra careful when taking a dip in the water.
The Richland Chambers Reservoir is located in Corsicana, Texas. For more information, you can visit their website here.
