Going to the same old places and doing the same old things starts to get really boring. Luckily for us, there are so many awesome things to do the DFW area that you never find yourself getting bored of the many things to do in the metroplex. One of the coolest things to do this Spring is being able to pick strawberries at Storm Farms right here in Arlington.
From now until June, you and your friends can go to the farm every Wednesday and Saturday to pick some of the most delicious strawberries ever. The strawberries are $8 a pound and you don't need to make an appointment beforehand as walk-ins are welcome.
Because the farm is so awesome, sometimes the strawberry fields get completely picked out on occasion, but you can always check their Facebook page for those updates. The farm also has a variety of other herbs and veggies available for purchase at any time. During the fall when strawberries don't grow, they have a beautiful pumpkin patch that you can take the most instagramable pics on.
Storm Farm always has something ready to pick year round and when tulip season comes to Texas, you can head on over and get your self a bouquet of those too. They are the only strawberry farm in the metroplex that allows you to pick your own strawberries and who would want to miss out on that chance?
Storm Farms is located on 010 South Bowen Road in Arlington, Texas and you can pick from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. For more information on the farm, you can visit their website here.
