When it comes to holiday decor, it can get pretty competitive out there. Every year, houses try to do each other out to see who has the most holiday spirit. While they're battling it out, we get to enjoy all of their hard work with a nice holiday lights trolly ride in Dallas.

The rides kick off November 30 and run through the 23 of December. You'll be able to take an hour-long ride on the trolly, and you never know what you might see. The houses, buildings, and full neighborhoods are super decked out with tons of lights and inflatables.

Rides are only $20 a person, and don't worry; you can bring some hot chocolate with you to keep warm. We do suggest booking as soon as possible as they tend to fill up fast. The trees are always covered from top to bottom, and you might run into Santa and a reindeer or two.

The giant neighborhood you drive through has houses with sparkling gates and twinkling lakes, which are often decorated with the most spectacular lights and some even play music. Texas pride is of no shortage, and there are often longhorn statues with little Santa hats scattered around.

The trolly is heated, so even when it gets extra chilly outside, you'll be able to stay warm. Rides begin at 6 p.m. so you will have plenty of time to get a bite to eat before or after the show.

For more holiday fun, stop by Six Flags Over Texas, where this year's Holiday in the Park will blow you away. You can also check out Galleria in Dallas, where they have the world's tallest indoor Christmas tree.
