There's no feeling of success quite as good as watching your favorite character dance on that first-place block at the Grand Prix that unlocked you your last SuperMario Kart character. The bragging rights on that achievement alone are enough to fuel your childish ego until at least the next update. But now, it just got even more serious. This 4th of July weekend on July 4th through July 7th, you can face-off with the legendary Mario himself in the race of all races at Bay Area Raceway.
Following the most intense 3, 2, 1 countdown, you'll embark on a live race against your friends while trying to not get hit by the water balloon shells.
There are no Bullet Bills to unfairly soar you into first place this time. No banana peels or blue shells to help you win. This is the real deal. No second chances.
But you can purchase water balloons for $2 a bag to pelt at your friends during the race for victory.
The Independence Day celebration will also feature the Tapas Dominicas Food Truck on July 6 at 1 pm.
Located about 40 minutes from Houston, Bay Area Raceway offers 1-hour ride packages for $30 per person, all-day armbands for $49 per person, and early bird specials for just $15. They also offer cheaper pay-by-race packages.
You can race any day of the week from 12 pm to 10 pm, and even later on weekends.
Bay Area Raceway also has loads of arcade games and laser tag for a full day of competitive fun!
So slap on your best Luigi stash, you have a Grand Prix to conquer.
