You Can Ride A Mini Polar Express Through Massive Light Tunnels Near Houston This Winter
All aboard the Polar Express!
Consider this your golden ticket to the most magical Christmas wonderland and as-close-to-the-Polar-Express as we're ever gonna get in The Land That Never Snows. Starting this month, Dewberry Farm near Houston's Christmas event will include its annual Trail of Lights and Christmas Fun, and we can't wait to come aboard.
Come November 29, Dewberry Farm will transform into a whimsical Christmas wonderland where all Houstonians can gather, roast s'mores around a campfire, and enjoy live music.
There will be more than 25 attractions, including a giant lit slide, and an adorable express train through the lights (that comes at no extra charge.)
The wagon trail ride will take you through the Trail of Lights, through the lights tunnel, and into several different Christmas villages.
And in the wise advice of the Polar Express conductor: "One thing about trains: It doesn't matter where they're goin'. What matters is deciding to get on."
If you haven't grabbed your Christmas tree yet, get there before dusk (what is that now—like 3 p.m.?) and pick out the perfectly over-sized piece of nature for your home.
And what's a good holiday event without some photo opts? The farm will feature a massive snow globe, a penguin igloo, elves, and spaceships.
Tickets are $21.20 online and includes admission and all the activities. However, if you wait to purchase tickets in-person, the price bumps up to $24.95.
Make sure you grab all your friends and nab that discount for groups of 10 or more online. The more the merrier!
So come on out after your Thanksgiving feast, hop on the train, hold tight on to your bell, and whisper "I believe."
