Any trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science will leave you in awe. There are so many artifacts that are unlike anything you've ever seen before. Now, the Houston Museum of Natural Science really is showing you something no one has ever laid their eyes on. HMNS is taking you behind the scenes to their offsite collections storage, for the first time ever.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is known for many things, such as their insane fossil collection as well as their super cool array of space gear. What many people don't know is that some of their older exhibits that were taken out of the museum along with artifacts the public eye hasn't yet seen, have a very special home. Historians have finally decided it's time for us to see what's going on behind the curtains! You have only one opportunity available to see this.
On Wednesday, June 26th at 1:30 pm you can buy tickets to join either tour and take off with them to the offsite collections storage. You'll meet at the museum and leave from there in a van. Once you arrive at the secret location, you'll see old exhibits such as shrunken heads from the Amazon, and a never-before-seen giant African elephant!
It's $75 per person to go on this incredible, exclusive adventure. There were originally two different times to go, but one has already sold out! Purchasing your tickets is a must, and sooner rather than later. Whether you're a fan of history or not, being one of the few people to see something no one else has or ever will is always a huge brag.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX 77030. For more information on tickets and what to expect during your visit, check out their Facebook event page for all that and more.
