You Can Now Walk Through The Cherry Blossoms At This Free Houston Garden
The prettiest pink trees are now in bloom!
Nothing is more beautiful than all the blooming flowers the beginning of warmer weather brings, and one of the prettiest of all the flowers you can find in Texas are the Cherry Blossoms. These pretty trees are hard to find in the state and they have a pretty short time when they're in season. However, you can see the cherry blossoms at the Houston Japanese Garden right now!
is located in the Museum District and is a beautiful section of the park filled with waterfalls, bridges, ponds, a teahouse, and of course, a lot of Japanese inspired greenery.
Wandering along the stone pathways under the shaded trees you can find pretty pink crepe myrtles, bright azaleas, and right now, you can also see the 20 blooming cherry trees the garden has.
Hermann Park has many differentbut the Japanese Garden is at the top of the list of the prettiest gardens in the park with the most exotic and beautiful flowers and greenery in Houston.
Admission to the garden is free and the park's hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until February 28. Then it will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting March 1 until October 31.
The best time to see the pretty pink blossoms is in the early spring and a few are even starting to blossom now.
Since Texas gets hotter much quicker than other northern parts of the world, the cherry blossoms tend to full bloom in February.
The Japanese Garden is one of the few places in Texas where you can find these pink trees and having it be in the heart of Houston means it's super convenient to go visit.
