Houston Is Having A Massive & Free Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

Dia De Los Muertos is a time to celebrate the lives of the loved ones who have passed. And this remembrance isn't a bit somber. The Magnolia Park Dia De Los Muertos will be on November 2 and boy are they bringing the fun! This free Day of the Dead event in Houston will have tons of amazing activities and performances.
From noon to 7 p.m., you'll see low riders, hear live music, and of course indluge in delicious food. Guests will also be treated to a number of performances by local artists that'll include traditional Mexican folk dances. There will also be an altar for you to commemorate your loved ones. Come in costume, or just come as you are, because this event is sure to bring culture and fun to Houston.
While the event is free we do recommend taking some cash just in case any of the items of food pull your heartstrings. There will be plenty of vendors selling all of your favorite treats and items. With activities like corn hole, giant Jenga, and bounce houses, there's something to do for any age.
