There's A Free 'Woodstock Festival For Dogs' Coming To Houston This Summer
Celebrate the summer with your pup and 60's music.
Festival season is coming back soon and while going to your favorite festivals can easily be one of the highlights of the year, it can also sometimes be a struggle figuring out what to do that would include your furry loved one. Music festivals aren't really the easiest place to take your pup but luckily there's a "dog Woodstock" event near Houston that's catered to your furry best friend!
Similar to the, Woofstock 2020 is coming to Katy on May 2 and is bringing the '60s back with a Woodstock-themed dog festival!
The fest will have everything a normal music festival has, but all of it will be catered towards dogs.
Admission to the event is free and it goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. so you and your furry best friend can spend the day browsing different vendors and maybe picking up a new treat or toy!
While the fest is definitely dog-oriented, they aren't leaving the owners out and will have plenty of food and drink options. The fest is partnering with Titanium Tequila so there will be a bunch of tasty cocktails for the 21-and-up pet parents.
They haven't announced the lineup yet but there will be music in homage to the 1969 Woodstock festival. The fest is going to be at the iLuckyDog Pet Campus, which has a park for all of the dogs, and even a doggie swimming pool that your pup can cool down in!
Woofstock is the perfect way to spend the early afternoon with your favorite fluffy friend and afterward, there's plenty you both can do in Houston together.
