Houston Is Hosting a Huge Latin Festival With Endless Mouthwatering Food This Spring
We are hungry already.
Houston is a diverse and colorful city, a place that many different communities feel lucky to call home. That's why the city is also home to many activities and festivals that celebrate multiculturality. For example, a huge Latin festival is coming to Houston soon, so if you enjoy music, dancing, and culinary creations from any Latin American country, you don't want to miss this event.
The Houston LatinFest will be highlighting Latin culture in all forms. Get ready to savor delicious dishes and drinks from all over Latin America, while you enjoy artistic presentations, Latin music, and a market full of authentic crafts and art pieces.
It will undoubtedly be the ultimate Latin experience in the city.
The Houston LatinFest is proud to be called "El festival de todos Los Latinos" (the festival of all Latinos) thanks to its broad representation of Latin American nationalities that have established residency in Houston.
If you are a Latinx or Latinx descendant, this is the place to be next April 19, 2020. The event will bring North, Central and South, and the Caribbean together in one festival.
Feel free to attend with your flag or the colors of your country if you like.
This event will feature some of today’s top performers in Latin music (2020 lineup is yet to be announced), so get ready to dance merengue, salsa, bachata, and reggaeton. You won't have any trouble finding a dancing partner at the event.
Food is also one of the LatinFest highlights. Several food stands will be representing different Latin countries, from Mexico to Cuba or Costa Rica.
You'll be able to enjoy tacos, Lomo saltado, tamales, and empanadas, to mention a few. There will also be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
After your meal, you can shop around the art and craft market and acquire some authentic souvenirs.
There's still a chance to get free admission to this cool event. You have to register with your name, print the ticket and show it at the gate on the day of the festival. Make sure to have your ID with you as well.
Free admission is limited and lasts until March. After that, you can enter the event for $10. If you'll like to go with your family or a group of friends, take advantage of the family pack ticket option, which gives you five tickets for $40.
If instead, you want to go to this festival as a VIP, you can pay $50 and get general admission plus access to the stage's seated front area, and two complimentary drinks and snacks. Nice!
