NASA is great to visit at any time of the year, but this winter, they are getting cooler than ever. On November 16 the Space Center kicked off a new holiday tradition: Galaxy Lights. Now, this NASA light display in Houston is hosting a boozy adult-only night and believe us, it's gonna be out of this world.

The appointment is this December 5, so if you have kids, be sure to get a babysitter. Children will not be admitted for a whole night at Galaxy Lights so you can explore the most technologically advanced lights among other nostalgic adults!

The whole center will make you feel like you're in outer space. A very festive, boozy and vibrant outer space.

At this special night at Galaxy Lights, you'll have all exhibits for yourself, so feel free to wander.

You can see the interactive lights and 3-D projections at the Rocket Park experience, or walk around and discover the high-tech kinetic light show above the Main Plaza. It has dozens of suspended lights moving in beautiful wintery sequences.

You can also play with the interactive LED and RBG light displays where you will get to change the colors or witness a spectacular indoor meteor shower!

The LED light tunnel, with its more than 250,000 lights synchronized to festive holiday music, is another attraction you don't want to miss.

While you play around you'll enjoy boozy hot cocoa and s'mores you can prepare after roasting your marshmallows in the fire pit at Independence Plaza.

Many food trucks will be waiting for you on the premises in case you have any other sweet or savory cravings. Alcoholic beverages will be available for 21 & older people with a valid ID.

Include some movie time in your evening and go watch the film "Holidays in Space" that includes real footage of how real astronauts celebrate the holidays, as well as interviews with retired astronauts about how they celebrate outside the planet. The film will be shown at the Space Center Theater.
