Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, ghost hunting is a sport that will surely knock you off of your feet. If it's an actual haunting entity or just your friend messing with you, who knows, but that's what makes it fun! Haunted Rooms America is bringing ghost hunting to Houston on the famous USS Battleship Texas this summer.
On Saturday, June 15th from 7 PM until the next morning, you can be a part of the first group of people to come aboard the USS Battleship for ghost hunting. Normally these activities are reserved for hotels and abandoned farmhouses, but Haunted Rooms America decided it's time to do something different and allow guests to explore this new eerie location that the public has never had the chance to investigate before. Finally, horror finatics are getting the change in setting they've been dreaming of.
The USS Battleship Texas was involved in both World War I and World War II. Lots of gore and many casualties later, the ship ended up in Houston near the San Jacinto Battelfield. With all the ship has gone through and seen, there's no doubt a ghost or two is still lingering around and waiting to meet brave explorers. Whispering and chattering around the ship has been heard, and there's even been reports of seeing a red-headed sailor walking around the ship.
To take part in this exclusive opportunity, tickets are $179 per person which will include much more than just a journey around the ship. Along with the tour, your package will include group vigils with experienced investigators, access to equipment such as trigger objects and EMF readers, the ability to sleep in the very racks the sailors did during the wars, and much more. This experience will have you terrified from start to finish, in the best way possible.
The USS Battleship Texas will be located at 3523 Independence Pkwy, La Porte, TX 77571. For more information and directions to the site along with online bookings, you can visit their website here.
