Do you remember wasting the days away, sitting on your couch and playing old school video games? Man, weren't those some stress free days, except the moment your Mom shouts for you to come sit down for dinner. Well the choice is all yours today and at the  2019 Houston Arcade Expo you can play for as long as you'd like! On November 15 through November 16, this huge arcade festival will be at the Marriott Westchase and it's going to be so much fun.

For two full days, you'll get to chug red bulls, play old school arcade games, and chill with cool people all for just $25! That is truly a bargain for unlimited play, but try to avoid the dreaded game called GAME OVER. We don't need that sort of negativity in our lives.

There will be over 400 different arcade cabinets to play from, the oldest of the old Pac-Man, and ridiculous stuff like Mortal Kombat. If you look hard enough, you may find that creepy zombie killing game The House of The Dead. The point is that there's something for everyone!

If you need something more simple than smashing buttons while staring at a screen, the expo also offers a huge selection of pinball machines. Those things never go out of style, and are super addictive. So, get to one before they get taken up. People tend to not move away from them.

If you're feeling up to it, you can take the party even further and dress up in a retro cosplay outfit. Or, if you're really feeling up for a challenge, sign up for one of the expo's many tournaments. The event is open until 2 a.m., so there's plenty of time to fit in everything you want to do.

If an arcade expo is too much hype for your old-school heart, check out Axelrad where you can relax and watch '90s movies for free!
