There are plenty of ways to make mac and cheese. Some people add chips, others add multiple types of cheeses, but this restaurant in Houston explores all of that and more. Jus' Mac is a restaurant dedicated to all things mac and cheese, serving over 24 types of the noodle dish in their iconic iron skillet.
At the cheesy joint you can find mac and cheese dishes including chicken and waffles, loaded bacon and Fritos, and even buffalo chicken. Normally, the popular food is made with cheddar cheese, but at Jus' Mac anything goes and cheddar is sometimes substituted for blue cheese, mozzarella or even goat cheese. If some of these variations sound just a little too extreme, they have a "conservative" menu which offers a twist on the original recipe but still keeps it classic.
They also have an assortment of deliciously cheesy appetizers. One of their more famous appetizers is the Fried Mac Balls, which are perfectly deep fried mac and cheese balls. Jus' Mac offers an assortment of nachos that all contain their famous jus mac cheese sauce.
The food joint also sells a veriety of sandwiches that don't contain mac and cheese, but are still filled with cheesy goodness.
Prices for the food joint range from $5 to $11, depending on what you get, and you can add bread crumbles on top of literally anything.
Just' Mac opens every day at 11 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. during the weekdays and at 10 p.m. during the weekends.
They only have locations in the city of Houston, but trust us, it is definitely worth the drive if you live anywhere else.
