You Can Zip Line Through These Stunning Texas Canyons For Cheap This Summer
800 feet above ground!
Ziplining seems to be an amazing adventure that has tons of great views. While some zipline views are of treetops, this one takes things to the canyons. Palo Duro Zip Line Adventure Park near Amarillo lets you zipline through the canyons of Palo Duro and has some of the largest adventure towers in the state.
The park has a round trip zipline that is over 800 feet tall. The zipline takes you on a journey from one massive tower to another and then back to a third tower. This means you get to ride a wild zipline twice in just one go. Another one of the ziplines is called the Canyon Crossing which takes guests on a Jeep tour across swinging bridges on the way to the zipline towers themselves. The zipline itself is about a fourth of a mile long and takes visitors across the ravine of the canyon.
Adventures last about 45 to 30 minutes each. You do have to book in advance and you can purchase a $40 VIP pass which allows you to go to the very front of the line during your visit. You can purchase packages for an individual line or you can purchase a combo pass for both zip lines.
The rides start at just $20 per person and work their way up to about $50 depending on what package you choose to get. Rides are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week except for Monday.
