San Antonio Is Having A Free Mario Fest With Mini-Mario Kart Tournaments This Month
Look out for those pesky red shells!
Playing Mario games is a pastime that never gets old, no matter how old you get. This weekend, a Mario Fest in San Antonio is inviting fans, both big and small, to come out and enjoy an evening of nothing but Mario-themed activities. You don't want to miss out on this awesome event.
On Saturday, January 25, from 7 to 11:30 p.m., Mario Fest at Fast Eddies San Antonio in Embassy Oaks will be taking place.
The fest will have any and, including the decor, games, food, and drink.
All those times your parents made you put the controllers down and go to bed are finally over, and what better way to celebrate than staying up all night with controllers in hand?
It's only a few days away, so make sure any plans you had for this weekend are rescheduled for another time, this can't wait.
Throughout the evening, you'll get to participate in lots of different Nintendo-loving activities. Dress up in your favorite characters' colors, grow out that mustache, and convince your friend to dress up as Waluigi.
One of the more highly-anticipated ones is the mini, which end in the winners getting prizes!
More info on the tournaments will be revealed at the event, though we assume the more you win, the better.
You can also binge some Mario games at the fest at various time slots via Nintendo Switch. If you don't own one of those bad-boy consoles by now, you'll want one after this.
Don't worry about getting hungry throughout the evening, Mario Fest has got you covered.
Fried mushrooms will be on sale all night, with a Super Mario inspired drink menu. The mushrooms are totally fitting, though we don't think they'll give you extra powers like they do with Mario.
Aside from the food and drink, everything else at the event is free. That's right, you don't have to drop a dime for any of the interactive games and activities.
If you love Mario as much as we do, then we'll see you at Mario Fest this weekend!
When: Saturday, January 25
Address: 502 Embassy Oaks, San Antonio, TX
Why You Need To Go: To play all of your favorite Mario games in the company of those who love them just as much as you.
