You Can Step Into A Real-Life Jurassic Park In San Antonio This Spring
We're getting our own Jurassic World.
Being obsessed with dinosaurs is not exclusive to children, no matter what anyone says. It's an obsession that followed the majority of us into adulthood and we just might have the numerous Jurassic Park sequels to blame for that. We're not complaining about it though, and we're certainly not complaining that life-size dinosaurs are taking over San Antonio this spring.
Jurassic Quest in San Antonio is being held at the Freeman Coliseum from Friday, April 17 until Sunday, April 19.
This year, the three-day event is going to be better than ever, and we have their newest attraction to thank for that.
Jurassic Quest is introducing Ancient Oceans this year, which will allow you to get up-close and personal with a 50-foot-long prehistoric shark, a Megalodon!
That's not all, the quest will have a dinosaur exhibit, rides, a show, and more.
This year, the event will have over 100 life-size dinosaurs to gaze in amazement at.
Their rides, which include rideable dinos, are some of the largest in North America. Plus you'll get to enjoy fossil digs, Jurassic Jeeps, dino scooters, and more.
Tickets are on sale now, and they recommend you purchase them in advance, after all, they do tend to sell out.
Tickets for adults, ages 13-24, are $24 per person and any older qualifies for the senior tickets which are $22.
Kids pay $24 or $36 per ticket, depending on if they want to upgrade to VIP.
You can visit their website to learn more about what is included with each individual ticket purchase.
Jurassic Quest will be open 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
We wouldn't blame you if you were to attend the event every single day!
They'll have more than one new attraction to take pictures of and with this year, so get your cameras ready and your poses prepared.
