When whispers of a new attraction at our favorite tourist destination began, we couldn't help but start counting down the days until it was finally open. That's right guys and gals, Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio's new adventure course is coming soon to replace the beloved Canopy Explorer. After years of bringing joy to the lives of everyone who experienced it, it's time to get out with the old and in with the new.

The new Twisted Trails Sky Adventure Course is set to open in late November, just in time for Christmas at the Caverns. The adventure course will take you six stories high and provide you with 50 elements, each offering something more challenging than the last. Stepping stones, a weave walk, and a rolling log are just some of the activities you can expect to have to get through. We'll miss the Canopy Explorer, but not for long.

If you're afraid of missing out on the zip line that came with the old Canopy Explorer, don't worry, Twisted Trails has something even better. Unlike traditional zip lining, where you're just on one straight line, you'll be soaring through 685 feet of curved rails, including an insane arc that'll make you feel like you're on an actual roller coaster. Turns out you don't have to go all the way to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to get the thrills you're seeking.

There's much more that will be part of this new attraction that we haven't even gotten into yet. Even something for the kiddos that can't necessarily go as high up as you may want to. But I guess you'll just have to go and see it for yourself this fall!

Natural Bridge Caverns is open all year long, with varying hours depending on the season. This fall you'll have a long list of reasons to visit them, and an even longer one to keep coming back.
