Get your Jack Skellington costumes ready.
Tim Burton is one of the most legendary filmmakers of all time. He's created masterpieces such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands, and more. We have every reason to celebrate him during this time of year and now there's a ball where we can do just that. The 8th Annual Tim Burton Ball in San Antonio is taking place this October and it's going to be incredible.
On Saturday, October 5 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning, you'll be able to participate in tons of fun activities at The Burton Ball. There'll be costume contests with cash prizes, spooky vendors, eats and treats, and more. You could leave with much more than you came with!
Wearing a costume to the event is obviously highly encouraged. The more Tim Burton movies you've seen, the better. There'll also be spooky dance music, creepy décor, film projections, live Burton themed art, and the list goes on. The ball only happens once a year but we'd easily show up to something like this once a week.
Tickets for the ball range from $5 to $40 depending on the package you're wanting. Early bird tickets are on sale now until September 2, so getting your ticket ASAP is a must. There's a full list of vendors on their official Eventbrite page so you can know exactly what to expect.
