Mansions have been a coveted type of home throughout history. Often people like to wonder about the people that lived there and how much money and effort it took to build the home before modern technology. One of the most spectacular and historic mansions is right here in Texas. The Seaquist House is a 19th-century mansion that is open to tours the first Saturday of every month.

The massive house has 22 rooms and 15 fireplaces! The third floor of the house is entirely a ballroom and game room. The house was owned by three families and the home reflects the styles and additions of each one of them. Seaquist House is named after the last family that owned the house who eventually renovated it with love since they had moved on from the home.

The house also has a three-story water tower with hand-carved stone covering every inch of it. Seaquist has several custom made stained glass windows throughout that are definitely a sight need to be seen in person. Texas has made it a landmark since it is no longer occupied and it is still being remodeled and restored to this day.

Imagine exploring this incredible home while dressed to the nines in vintage clothing, it'll be like you've actually traveled back in time! And we bet you'll get the coolest photos ever.

Tours for the house take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., except in November when it will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The state hopes the house will eventually turn into a massive local tourist spot once all the renovations are finished but there is no set date for the house to be complete as of yet.

Tickets for tours to get the coolest vintage photos in an actual mansion are only $15 and Seaquist House is located at 405 Broad St in Mason, Texas. For more information on the house, you can visit their website here.
