It's that time of year again. The time to get excited for the holidays, music festivals, and even German festivals are around the corner. Everyone in Texas knows this is where to be if you want a good 'ole pitcher of beer or stick of sausage to transport you to Germany without actually going there. One particular festival is arguably better than the rest, and that's Wurstfest. Ladies get your cutest fall outfits ready, because this is the event of the season.
Starting Friday, November 1 and going until Sunday, November 10, you can join in on all the fun with the rest of Texas for a celebration you'll never forget. Wurstfest is held in New Braunfels, not far from San Antonio, each and every year. There'll be beer everywhere you turn, tons of German eats, and the most incredible live entertainment. I never thought I'd say this but, lederhosen just might be the move.
Admission into the fest is free five out of the 10 days it'll be held. If you're planning on stopping by Monday through Wednesday, admission is free all day long. The weekdays just might be the day to go! The hours for the festival vary depending on the day, but all of your questions can be answered on their FAQ page.
This isn't the only German festival happening in the coming months, but it's by far the most exciting. There's so much to do you'll end up spending your entire day here without even noticing. There are even rides, face painting, shops, and so much more. There's going to be plenty to be thankful for this November.
Address: 178 Landa Park Dr, New Braunfels, TX, 78130
Why you need to go: This is the ultimate German celebration to fulfill all of your Oktoberfest dreams! There's plenty of time to stop by so you really have no excuse.
