Texas is a place with very unpredictable weather. Often, we would love to have a snow day in the winter for the holidays but Texas' more temperate weather means it rarely happens. Thankfully, Waco Wonderland is bringing snow tubing to the area this winter.

The Wonderland is bringing a three-lane snow tubing hill on December 7 and 8. The hill is said to be made out of real ice and is the perfect way to get the winter weather activities you want even when Texas isn’t cooperating. You can get wristbands for $5 that let you tube down the hill all day. Purchasing the wristband also gives you unlimited rides on the Ferris wheel and their winter train.

The event itself will be open from December 6 to 8. It is free admission, but certain things do cost a small fee, so we suggest bringing some cash with you. For added fun, you’ll be able to take a downtown carriage ride, explore the petting zoo, and enjoy a tree lighting ceremony. Entertainment will include live performances by a variety of local artists.

Food trucks will be set up all around, so you will always be able to find a delicious snack anywhere you look. Plenty of vendors will be available with local goods, so you might just find the perfect present for everyone on your list.
