You'll Feel Like A Lumberjack At This BYOB Axe-Throwing Bar In Washington
Let's kick some axe! 😜
Do you remember when smashing things to bits in an actual rage room to have some drunken-fun or destress, was a thing? In Washington, you can do the same but with axes! There's an ax-throwing bar in Seattle and it's the most Pacific Northwest way to blow off some steam.
Aptly called the Axe Kickers, this White Center venue has made it a sport to throw hatchets in a bowling alley-like setting.
You can reserve a single lane at $28 per person for 1.5 hours. Each alley comes with two targets and fits 10 people at a time. If your group has over 15 people, it'll only cost you $25 per head.
Whether you're throwing a party for your Sasquatch-loving friend, helping someone (or yourself) get over an ex or vent about a boss, this is the sport you'll want to play.
Open to people of all ages, you'll get instructions on how to throw at this spot.
Two people compete at a time, earning points for sticking the blade in the target. The highest scorer wins.
If you're wondering if you'll be able to wield one, they have small, medium, and large-sized choppers to choose from.
You can even join a league there if you find yourself getting good at it. It's much like your baseball one, but with tomahawks.
The popular arena gets filled up quickly, so we recommend reserving a spot at least two hours in advance. Make sure to wear close-toed shoes before you get there though.
All that target practice can work up quite the appetite, so you're allowed to bring in whatever food you'd like for free!
You can even order pizza, get an Uber Eats delivery or bring your Crock-Pot and lay out a spread on the many tables in the arena.
While they serve drinks like tea, Gatorade, soda, and Lacroix for a couple of bucks, you can also bring your own beer, wine or bubbly for a $10 banquet permit.
All we can say is ready your flannel outfits and get ready to kick some axe! Who knows? You might actually have a hidden talent for it.
If you're into this kind of fun, how about going back in time toin Emerald City? It has over 50 pinball games.
