As Canadian beauty brand The Ordinary recovers from a hectic Black Friday sale that crashed their website three times, they are now preparing to drop a new full-coverage foundation that is literally thinner than water.
And, like so many of the products carried by the line, the foundation is poised to be ridiculously cheap, much like their other comparable foundations like their Ordinary Colours Serum Foundation which is sold for only $7.
Under their parent company Deciem, The Ordinary prides itself on being a part of "the abnormal beauty company." And with extremely affordable high-quality products like the foundation that's coming our way very soon, they truly are abnormal in a world of Kylie Lip Kits and KKW Beauty.
So, what's the deal with this new foundation and why should you care? Well, first off, the new "Watercolours" foundation will offer great coverage while still feeling ultra-lightweight. The Ordinary boasts that their "Watercolours" will be the lightest foundation ever, while still offering a complete coverage look.
And the second reason why you should care is that this amazing product is sure to be cheap, just like the line's other foundations. But how does a company craft a foundation that is technically thinner than water yet still have work so well?
Looks like those details are still under wraps, but Deciem did give some details on what fans can expect from the new "Watercolours." The ultra-lightweight foundation will be oil and silicone-free and, as is the case with all of their beauty products, the Watercolours' colour range with be inclusive of all skin tones.
Thankfully, the wait is almost over for The Ordinary's Watercolours Foundation, as the new product is dropping in December but the exact launch date has yet to be announced.
But if it's anything like their previous launches, you might want to get your hands on some as soon as they launch; their Serum Foundation quickly sold out and had a waiting list of 25,000 people eager to get a bottle of their own!!
