You Will Get A Scenic Bird's Eye View Of Chattanooga Atop This Tennessee Mountain

Chattanooga is even prettier when you're among the clouds.

Chattanooga is home to attractions that beckon tourists from all over the country, but what's on ground level doesn't compare to the breathtaking beauty you can experience from the mountaintops. If you want to witness the entirety of Chattanooga from a bird's eye view, you can make this easy mountain hike with the best views in Tennessee

Point Park on Lookout Mountain is overflowing with history, as it once served as the site of a Civil War battle. While the troubled history may not be enough to draw you in, what the park is today will definitely beckon you to give it a visit.

Point Park itself is a 10-acre wealth of natural beauty, with several points where you can witness the entirety of downtown Chattanooga. The view gets even more spectacular at night when you can see the city light up.

If you have the desire to see more nature outside of the park, there are plenty of trailheads to choose from on Lookout Mountain. The most picturesque hike takes you from Point Park to Sunset Rock

As the name implies, Sunset Rock is the prime destination to witness a sunset in River City. The entire adventure is 3.5 miles. Even if you don't complete the entire adventure, you'll still encounter some serious views.

Along the way, you'll encounter perches for ultimate photo ops, observation points and dazzling fall foliage.

If you're in the area and ready to take on more breathtaking thrills in nature, check out Raccoon Mountain and Snoopers Rock
