You Can Explore The Happiest 450-Acre Daffodil Field In Washington This Spring

From miles of the prettiest cherry blossoms and lavender to all the Holland-like feels at the tulip gardens, Washington flower festivals are absolutely breathtaking. But did you know that the Evergreen State celebrates spring with the sunniest fields of daffodils too? And you can see them for yourself this spring!
You can catch the cheeriest flowers in action at the La Conner Daffodil Festival from February 29 to March 31, 2020.
A spokesperson for the event told Narcity that the RoozenGaarde farm is one of the main display gardens for the golden blooms this year.
The farm is known for growing millions of tulips in a sweeping rainbow of hues, but they have 450 acres of daffodils too. With variations like the Dutch Master, Flower Carpet, and Standard Value, you can expect to get lost in them.
With Mount Baker as the backdrop against these vibrant flower fields, we're yet to find a better photo op!
There's even a windmill and several other fields of flowering plants nearby to stroll through with your boo. If one thing's for certain, pictures at this farm will keep your Insta busy for days.
You'll have to leave your drones and dogs behind as they are not allowed at this spot.
While it's free to drive around to catch a glimpse of them, you'll need a $7 ticket on weekdays or $10 ticket on weekends to enter the farm and literally stop and smell them.
Although the exact timing of the blooms is left to Mother Nature herself, you can check out the "Bloom Map" here to see if the flowers are at their peak before you plan a trip.
While you're here, you can also drive through the historic town of La Conner and catch them getting into the spirit of spring.
Aside from ticketed-events like jazz concerts, pie & ice cream socials and bicycle "tweed" rides in the flower fields, you can also expect to buy the seasonal blossoms anywhere in the town all month long.
If you're a flower person, here's a fun fact: This particular county produces the most number of tulips, irises, and daffodils in the entire United States!
While you chew on that, we'll ready our prettiest sundresses and hats. 'Cause this one's going to be one for the books.
