Being left at the altar sounds bad enough, but imagine being left at the altar while your estranged father, who has shown up, unannounced, watches. Sounds pretty bad, doesn't it? That's the premise for the new Netflix film, 'Like Father'.

The film stars Kristen Bell, who plays the character of Rachel, and tells the story of what happens when she and her father reunite after her being ditched by her fiance.

After the failure of a wedding, Rachel and her father, played by Kelsey Grammer, cope by getting blackout drunk, and they somehow end up on a Caribbean cruise that was meant to be for Bell's honeymoon.

The two embark on the cruise as strangers, and it's definitely a bit awkward considering that Grammer's character hasn't been in her life since she was just a young girl, but as the cruise goes on, the two begin to strengthen their relationship and come back with a renewed appreciation for family and life.

While on the cruise, the pair has plenty of misadventures, and Rachel even finds a nice guy love interest, played by Seth Rogan! Regardless if you've been left at the altar or not, the film definitely has some hilarious and relatable moments that will have you laughing and crying.

'Like Father' will be available on Netflix on August 3rd. If you're interested, you can watch the trailer below:
