You Have To Walk Out Into The Ocean On A Pier To Get To This Hidden Restaurant In Florida

The best meal with the best views of the ocean.

If you are looking for a casual dining experience with great waterfront views that won't break the bank, check this old Florida spot. The Rod and Reel Pier is a hidden restaurant at a pier with the best seafood you could possibly taste.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure tucked away in Anna Maria Island. What looks like a regular pier where fishermen unite to get the best catch of the day, this quaint spot offers more than just a great meal. The Rod and Reel Pier is a two story, newly renovated restaurant, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with a casual unique bar serving beer and wine.

You will find a delectable menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner while enjoying a beautiful sunset or sunrise. This relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to bring your date. And, to top off your dining experience you can bring a fishing pole, for a small fee, and fish right off its dock and walkways.

Their menu includes incredible fish specials, local favorites, and traditional fare. If you love seafood this is the place to have a feast. You can order Mexican grouper, sea scallop dinner, fried oysters, clam showder, fish and chips, and more.

The restaurant also serves sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and Floridian's favorite dessert, key lime pie.

The Rod and Reel Pier is located at 875 N Shore Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216. It is open Monday - Sunday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm.
