Tim Hortons is officially pulling out the big guns, well, in terms of sweets anyway. The beloved coffee chain just introduced two new limited time items to its menu the Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie and the Cinnamon Sugar Timbits. Tim Hortons' new Timbits and brownies have officially hit shelves nationwide.
The Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie's name pretty much says it all. It's a delicious-looking brownie with massive chunks of chocolate in it. The perfect treat to sink your teeth into between warm sips of your Double Double. The Cinnamon Sugar Timbits looks more like an alternate version of Timmies classic old fashioned Timbit, except coated in cinnamon sugar.
Both of the new items will be available at participating Tim Hortons locations nationwide for a limited time. It is unknown at this time how limited the new items will be, but they are only available while supplies last, so get them while you can.
Tim Hortons officially introduced another new member to the Timbit family back in March. the Double Double Timbit, a treat which was of course modeled after the staple Timmie's coffee.
The lighthearted news of brownies and cinnamon-coated Timbits comes days after a report revealed that Tim Hortons' sales dipped this year. As a result, the company has decided to make changes to it's 33-year-old Roll Up The Rim contest, and give it a makeover.

The program is now expected to undergo several major changes after the company's sales dropped 0.6 percent during the first quarter of 2019. The company's celebrated contest is getting an overhaul after Tim Hortons' parent company Restaurant Brands International reported disappointing sales results in the first three months of this year.
