If you want to get this sweet treat and help a good cause, you better act fast. The Tim Hortons Nova Scotia donut is now available across Canada and there are a bunch of different designs. However, it won't be around for long!

On April 29, the Nova Scotia donut launched nationwide at 1,500 Tim Hortons locations so now everyone can snack on the confection and support a good cause.

All of the proceeds made from its retail price is being donated to the Canadian Red Cross Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund.

Since the move to get the new menu item out there and start fundraising was quick, the design you get will be different depending on the location you visit.

With supplies that are on hand, a bunch of different creative designs have been thought up.

There have been donuts that have the Nova Scotia flag in a glaze with sprinkles in the middles, ones with NS and a heart in frosting, ones with a blue glaze and multicolour sprinkles and more.

Regardless of the design, the proceeds will go towards supporting individuals, families and communities that have been impacted by the shooting.

The Nova Scotia donut is only available until May 5.

The sweet treat was first made available in Nova Scotia exclusively back on April 26 with proceeds also going to the Canadian Red Cross fund.

"I am very grateful that my fellow Tim Hortons restaurant owners across the country are coming together to support Nova Scotia as we try to cope with this tragedy," said Christy Breed, a Tim Hortons restaurant owner in Dartmouth, in a news release.

The coffee chain brought together NHLers Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon to kick off the campaign.

"Let's show Nova Scotians how all Canadians stand with them," Crosby said.

Now, for $1.59, everyone in Canada can get one of the treats.

"Canadians have shown time and time again that they will be there for their neighbours in times of crisis," said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer at the company. "From all of us at Tim Hortons, our hearts go out to all those who are hurting right now – we are thinking of you."

Following the tragedy in Nova Scotia, there have been so many tributes and shows of support.

Someone dangled from a helicopter while holding a Nova Scotia flag and a pilot flew in the shape of a heart over the province.
