Ontario's Hidden Turquoise Swimming Hole Is The Glorious Escape We All Need
With summer just around the corner, our heads have been filled with tropical vacation daydreams. And although you might not be jumping on a plane anytime soon, you can still enjoy those vacay vibes right here in Ontario. Just a short drive from Toronto, the Topaz Lake swimming hole features beautiful turquoise water and it will totally transport you to paradise.
Located within Killarney Provincial Park, this stunning swimming hole is only about four hours from Toronto, making it an ideal day trip destination.
You can find this hidden gem along the 80-kilometre loop known as La Cloche Silhouette Trail.
It might be a bit of a hike to get here, but it’s impossible to not feel relaxed once you arrive.
Plus, the trees and rolling hills that surround Topaz Lake offer just enough privacy to make you feel like you’re in your own private oasis.

Unfortunately, Killarney Provincial Park is currently closed, but you know as soon as they reopen you will find us soaking up the sun at the lake.
