Cinco de Mayo is a world wide celebration held every year on May 5th and several venues in Toronto will be hosting Mexican fiestas! There's no better day to embrace the Mexican culture than on Cinco de Mayo!

1. Macho Radio Bar // 92 Fort York Blvd

The newly opened Tex Mex cantina in the heart of City Place is hosting its first Cinco de Mayo party! Cocktails and canapes are on the house from 5pm -7pm.

2. El Cabalito // 145 Pearl St.

Doors will open at 1 pm for the Mexican fiesta at El Cabalito! For $20 you will receive a ticket and a free bottle of Corona. There will be a live DJ and a Mariachi band performing all night long!

3. Valdez // 606 King St.W.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Valdez from 7pm-11pm. Tickets are $20 and come with 5 sample-sized tequila shots and delicious latino street food. Valdez will be hosting their last Cinco de Mayo party at this location, but don't worry they will reopen in a grander venue later this summer!

4. Reposado // 136 Ossington Ave

Enjoy Tromba tequila tastings and Real del Jalpa Mezcal cocktails on Reposado's tiki bar and have some buckets of Mexican beer for $22.

How could there be a Cinco de Mayo without El Catrin in the Distillery District? Of course they have a huge event for this celebration! Get the party started nice and early at 4 pm with their patio fiesta, tequila sampling and drink features. If you get a VIP ticket you will receive 1 drink ticket along with 2 food tickets.

6. Oasis Patio (Wayne Gretzky's)  // 99 Blue Jays Way

Oasis will open their patio for the season on Cinco de Mayo! The event starts at 4 pm and guests are welcome on a first come first serve basis. Cheer on the Blue Jays, with a live DJ and sip on Corona's all night long.

7. La Carnita //multiple locations

Munch on delicious Mexican street food at one of La Carnita's three locations. Get ready for some lip-smacking margaritas, mouthwatering tacos, in house made churros, Mexican style meatballs and corn! Drink specials for the festivities will be available as well!

8. Fonda Lola // 942 Queen St. W

Party Mexican style on Fonda Lola's back patio. Hit up some colourful pinatas every hour, enjoy their Mexican beers on tap, sip on $5 margaritas and mange delicious signature dishes. Have your dance moves ready because Fonda Lola is known to host salsa lessons!

9. The Addison's Residence // 456 Wellington St.W

Join the Addison's for a speciality Cinco de Mayo house party! Celebrate Mexican style with sombreros, speciality cocktails and $5 tequila shots all night long. Doors open at 5 pm and there is no cover. Unfortunately there are no tacos on the menu, but of course they have free pizza!

Early Mercy's first ever Cinco de Mayo party will start at 10 pm. The night long party will feature a mariachi band, live DJ, sol beer and tequila specials. Sombreros will be provided ;)
