We all want to spend our summers traveling to our bucket list locations, but after a full school year most of our bank accounts can't handle that.  Luckily we have compiled a list of jobs that can take you to your dream destinations this summer, whether that be in Canada or overseas!

1. Tour Guide In Amsterdam

Jobs in the tourism industry are perfect for those looking to go overseas. Tour Guides are virtually needed everywhere. Its an added bonus if you can speak more than one language seeing as you will be dealing with tourists from all around the world. You'll also have an opportunity to really get to know the hidden gems in the city you're working in.

2. Winery Worker In California

If you love wine, this is the job for you. Working at a winery offers multiple positions such as farm workers, wine-tour guides, cellar hands, assistant wine makers etc. For those who are not interested in traveling to Cali there are also wineries in New Zealand, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Niagara, Portugal, Italy etc.

3. Tree Planting in British Columbia

Tree Planting is the perfect job for those who love the environment. These jobs are offered in many different locations, but they are also readily available here in Canada. This is awesome because you wont have to deal with the headache of getting a visa!

4. Resort Staff in Cuba

Working on a resort is the closest your job can get to a vacation. There are multiple positions available such as maid service, kitchen staff, lifeguarding, recreation staff, front desk etc. Resort staff isn't just limited to Cuba, there are resorts all around the world so you are bound to find one that suits your taste.

5. Theme Park Worker in Florida

Why not work in the most magical place on earth? Your inner child will be so stoked working at an amusement park this summer. Theme parks like Disney and Six flags both do a great job of accommodating students seeing as their busy season is April to September, so apply ASAP!

6. Day Camp Staff in Spain

For those who love working with kids, this job is a dream come true. Not only will you get to spend a lot of time outside running around, but you will be in beautiful scenery. Many camps provide a complimentary foreign language class as an added bonus! There are also more niche day camps such as sports camp and drama camp so you will definitely find something that works for you.

7. Teaching English in Taiwan

This is an awesome job to have on your resume, and will definitely impress future employers. The best part is you don't need a teaching degree! You will need to take a TEFL course before flying abroad but it is totally worth it. Taiwan has become a super popular place to teach abroad because of its low living costs and high paying available positions.

8. Cruise Ship Staff  in the Caribbean

Working on a cruise ship offers tons of opportunities for awesome travel destinations. Most Cruise companies hire on contract-based timelines, which is ideal if you're just looking for a summer job. There are multiple available positions on the ships such as photographer/videographer, kitchen staff, spa staff, lifeguards, recreation staff, day care workers, etc.

9. Ski Instructor / Resort Staff in Colorado

Working at a ski resort is the ideal job if you're looking for discounted lift tickets to use on your days off. Not only are you able to spend your days on the mountain, but you're getting paid for it. Plus there is usually awesome nightlife in ski villages!

10. Working On A Farm in Italy

Farming is an outdoor job that will whip you into shape. The best way to go about getting a farming job in Italy is to contact them directly seeing as many of the farms are independent. Many farms will also offer a complimentary room for you to occupy during your stay. That means more of your paycheque can go towards the bar and excursions rather than rent!
