It's no secret that vinyl is making a serious comeback, and luckily Toronto is fully embracing it! Whether you're looking for a vintage Beatles album or something off the top 40, there is a very good chance that you'll find it pretty quickly at one of these Toronto record shops!

Kops // Multiple Locations
Kops has some amazing clearance sales that you should be taking advantage of. The staff is also extremely helpful and are always willing to help you find what you're looking for. I've also had the staff make a few really good recommendations based on what I had bought previously which was definitely appreciated.
Sonic Boom // 215 Spadina Ave.
Sonic Boom has a huge amount of selection. If you're wanting to spend an hour or two looking through thousands of different records, this is your spot. They also have a pretty extensive used record section, so there is a good chance you'll find a great bargain if you take the time to search.
Rotate This // 186 Ossington Ave.
Rotate this is often the cheaper option when comparing them to other Toronto shops.
Pandemonium // 2920 Dundas St W.
Pandemonium is my favourite place to go shopping for used records. They have a huge variety of different genres that aren't always offered at every record shop.
Shortstack Records (black market) // 256 Queen St W.
Shortstack is a little on the smaller side, but often has some serious gems. They also have a pretty good selection of new records that is updated very regularly.
June Records // 662 College St.
June records has a great selection of newer vinyl, so if you're looking for something that has just came out, there is a very good chance that they will have it!
Loon Records // 550 College St.
Loon records has a pretty decent $5 bin that is definitely worth looking through if you have the time. The staff are also super helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
Grasshopper // 1167 Dundas St W.
Grasshopper should be your go-to spot for all things vintage. They often stock older records that are a little harder to find elsewhere, so it's the perfect place to find some old classics.
Soundscapes //572 College St.
Soundscapes is a pretty underrated shop on College. They have a huge amount of selection and their staff are extremely attentive.

Urban Outfitters // Multiple locations
Okay before you roll your eyes, just hear me out. Yes, Urban Outfitters can be overpriced, and full of GTA kids looking for the perfect Mac DeMarco hat, but they have a pretty good variety of new/top 40 records. So if you're looking for popular music or a record that just came out, this is a pretty good destination.
