Living in Toronto and the entire province of Ontario we're all so lucky to be close to so much nature and beauty. Ontario has breathtaking nature adventures around every corner but I think it's safe to say that most of us don't take advantage of it like we should. 

Living in the city gives us access to everything we could ever need, so why leave? Well, there's tons of beauty that's just waiting to be explored and you just can't find it in the city. 

This spring we all should get out there and explore our great province and these day trips will let you do that without wandering more than 1 or 2 hours outside of the city limits! 

1. Terre Bleu Lavender Farm

Only located a short drive outside of the city are these stunning lavender fields! You can wander through the fragrant isles of lavender, take pictures at the bright yellow door and indulge in some delicious lavender ice cream!

Located just outside of Toronto in Burlington, Ontario are the most beautiful botanical gardens! They have 4 different gardens, trails to explore and nature to spot while you're there. This summer they're also planning on opening up a massive rose garden that will be filled with fragrant and beautiful roses.

Hamilton is known as the city of waterfalls and it's super clear why. You can find stunning waterfalls that are just breathtaking like this one! Devil's Punchbowl is a 37 metre high ribbon waterfall that's in the centre of a bowl-like canyon. It's seriously a sight to see and definitely worth the road trip.
