Now that the spring weather has finally rolled around, it's just a matter of time before we start to get that summer heat back in our lives as well. Once the temperature rises, literally everyone in the city flocks outside. 

We just can't help it! We've been deprived of warmth and vitamin D for too long now, and we need to soak it all up as fast as we can. While going for a walk will do the trick, we all know the best way to enjoy the sunshine is to hang out on a patio. 

Toronto is full of so many stunning patios, whether they be cocktail bars, restaurants, breweries or cafes, there's something for everyone to enjoy outside. So make the most of the sunshine and go grab a drink at one of these amazing spots!

Gusto 101 is definitely one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Toronto. This multi-floor restaurant is known for their delicious food, amazing cocktails, and great music. They have two patios, one on the main floor and one on the upper floor!


7. The Porch 

Where: 250 Adelaide St W, Old Toronto

What would a patio list be without Toronto's beloved rooftop patio, The Porch! This spot is known across the city for having one of the most Instagrammable views of the CN Tower, as well as their massive drinks served in plastic buckets.


6. Mascot Brewery 

Where: 31 Mercer St, Entertainment District

This industrial-style brewpub is a must-visit during the summer in Toronto. They have a rooftop beer garden that is super spacious, always has awesome live DJs playing, and of course, serve tons of craft brews on tap!


5. Bar Reyna 

Where: 158 Cumberland St, Yorkville

This Mediterranean cocktail and snack bar is the place to be when you're in Yorkville this summer. It's built into a two-storey Victorian-style house with a year-round patio in the back, hidden from the busy street action. They decorate their patio to make it so adorable, you'll feel right at home here!

This spot doesn't just boast an amazing ambiance and fun menu, it has an upstairs sing-along piano bar and rooftop patio. So if you're looking to chow down, listen to awesome tunes, and take in some great views, you've gotta head to Paupers Pub to have a fun night.

The Thompson Toronto is a super swanky hotel in the heart of the King West area that also offers one of the best rooftop patios in the entire city! During the summer months, they open up their rooftop so you can enjoy food, drinks, and their rooftop pool all with a breathtaking view of the city skyline.


2. The Walton

Where: 607 College St, Little Italy

The Walton is probably one of lesser-known spots on this list, but it definitely deserves all the recognition. It's a cafe and cocktail bar that has probably one of the prettiest interiors AND most adorable patios in the entire city. It will honestly make you feel like you were transported to the cobble-stoned streets of Paris.


1. Cherry St Bar-B-Que

Where: 275 Cherry St, Lower Donlands

This delicious BBQ joint is actually built into an old bank, giving it a super unique feel! They have a massive patio where they serve up classic BBQ eats, sides, and drinks with incredible sunset views.
