Toronto is blessed with such a wide variety of chinese restaurants. And since there are so many to choose from, we've narrowed it down to the best of the best for you. If you're craving the taste of the Orient, you definitely should check out these places:

Cynthia's Chinese Restaurant // Multiple locations

This charming place has gotten great reviews by people who have eaten authentic food in China itself! The quality of the ingredients exceeds other Chinese chains and restaurants.

Dynasty // 69 Yorkville Avenue

This place is known for the quality of its service and food. There are no prices on the menu; instead, the sizes of the meal (which range from S, M, L, XXL) indicate the price range.

Mother’s Dumplings // 421 Spadina Avenue

Mother's Dumplings is one of Chinatown’s gems indeed. Their food definitely has a home-cooked feel, and their menu is extensive. A pro-tip is to get anything with chives, because it adds flavour that will rock your world.

Mean Bao // 275 Dundas Street West

Hip and tasty is the best way to describe this place. They started as a popular food truck and now sell their 21st-century-inspired Chinese food in a cool little resto on Dundas.

Garden Gate // 2379 Queen St East

The Goof is a staple on Queen St East. It's gone through a variety of upgrades, particularly their interior, which is now super modern and clean. Luckily, their delectable chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce still tastes the same.

Asian Legend // 4452 Sheppard Avenue E

Whenever I go to Asian Legend I always have a good ol’ time. They just get everything perfect, down to a T. The food comes quickly. The staff are so nice. The décor is cute and warm. And the food itself is mind-blowing. Their famous green onion and beef pancakes definitely live up to the hype, as well as their Peking Duck.

Lee Garden // 331 Spadina Avenue

There is a reason why this Chinatown restaurant have been around for so long (40 years). No matter how busy they get, their service doesn't get discounted! The food is tasty, and neither greasy nor too salty.

King's Noodle // 296 Spadina Ave

This very popular restaurant is the go-to place for comfort Chinese food. It feels like it has been here forever.
