2017 Hockey Hall of Fame Induction

Why should you go: Celebrate the NHL's finest with the new batch of inductees set to join the 2017 class! Various events will take place all weekend, like autograph sessions, Legends Classic game and more, leading up to the official induction ceremony Monday night.
Syria Film Festival

Why should you go: This festival is back with even more powerful and intense films that cover the Syrian struggles. The films feature many storylines that are sure to make your cinematic experience a memorable one. They strive to empower young filmmakers and artists to showcase their talents in the Toronto community.
Food Truck N' Friday
Where: 1 Resurrection Rd // Etobicoke
When: November 10th - 4:30 pm-8:30 pm
Why should you go: Probably my favourite go-to this weekend. Despite it being cold and taking place outdoors, it is one of the last weekends it is taking place and they are nearing the end of the season. From Mexican to Indian food, there is sure to be something that will satisfy your taste buds!
Indie Week

When: November 7th- November 12th - Times vary.
Why should you: This is the last day for you to enjoy one of the most entertaining festivals of the year. Over the course of the week they showcase over 200 talents in the indie world, from musicians to actors and everything in between. Chris Rock-Total Blackout Tour

Why should you go: Chris Rock is probably one of the funniest people. Ever. I might be biased in saying so, but whatever. Enjoy a great night of comedy with a man who will be sure to having you laughing all night!
24 hr Sketch Challenge
Where: 154 Danforth Ave // Greektown
When: November 11th - 8:00 pm- 10:00 pm
Why should you go: A very interesting twist to a comedy night. The actors and directors are given 24 hours to get a 15 mins sketch together. Honestly, check out this event if you love improv and acting alike, because it is hard to explain- but so much fun!
Indie Week 4 AM Last Calls

Why should you go: 4 AM last call is a rare occasion that must be taken full advantage of. Due to Indie Week, the bars in the link above are all open till 4 am... so go out, and dance the night away!
Mississauga Christmas Market

Why should you go: Christmas markets have arrived! Beat the craziness for when they are in full swing, and hit the market in Sauga. From crafts, to food items, you are sure to find something for those on your Christmas shopping list! Proceeds will be going towards Crafting For A Cure.
