66 Songs Every Scarborough Person Grew Up With
Songs have the power to take you back in time. When I came across my dusty first generation iPod Shuffle the other day, that's exactly what happened. As I listened to the songs on it, it was like I was able to relive little fragments of my past.
Scarborough in the 00's was a time when Hip Hop & RNB appeared to be the dominant genres. I say this because at the time, it seemed as if more people were tuning into Flow 93.5 than Kiss 92.5. Not only did it influence a culture, with the baggy pants and the Phat Farms and all, it also influenced generations.
That's why this Scarborough list is full of Hip Hop & RNB songs. It's likely to appeal more to Generation Y and Z, but you're bound to recognize at least one of them:
