The wait is almost over.
9 New Restaurants Coming To Toronto This Fall 2016

New restaurants open in Toronto pretty much on a monthly basis. Since the beginning of 2016, there have been over 50 restaurants that have debuted their delicious cuisine and spectacular venues in the city. The year has yet to come to an end and that means, there are still many fine dining restaurants, cafes, quick stops and healthy eateries making their way to Toronto.

From Italian to Asian dishes, the cultural choices are unlimited. The question is, what's coming to Toronto this fall? Here's a list of 9 new restaurants coming to Toronto during the year's most colorful season:

1. Baro // 485 King St.W

The highly anticipated Latin American street food restaurant is coming to the King West neighbourhood late fall 2016. You can try the Baro food truck in the meantime to get a taste of the flavors put together by Chef Steven Gonzalez.

2. Masseria // 577 King St. W.

Masseria is an Italian fare restaurant that has traditional appetizers, pizzas, insalatas and paninis on their menu. The modern space creates a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere and will make every guest feel as if they're at home. The new addition came to King and Portland on September 8th 2016.

3. North Poke // 179 Baldwin St.

Have you yet to try poke bowls? Soon enough you'll be able to have this traditional Hawaiian dish in the heart of Kensington market. North Poke is currently offering food delivery and catering services, but the restaurant location will officially open this fall.

4. Rosen's Cinnamon Buns // TBA

Amy Rosen (a Canadian food writer) is bringing a cinnamon bakery/cafe, serving fresh mouth-watering goodies to Toronto. The bun shop is said to be open some time in October or November, at College and Ossington.

5. Planta // 1221 Bay St.

The Chase Hospitality Group ( owners of The Chase, Kasa Moto and Colette) is expanding with a vegetarian eatery opening in Yorkville. With one of Toronto's best chefs David Lee in charge, the restaurant is said to include "plant-based" items on the menu, with vegetarian dishes inspired from all around the world. The grand opening of the 165 seat restaurant is just in a couple of weeks!

6. La Banane // 227 Ossington Ave.

La Banane is brought to Toronto by King Street Food Company, owners of popular restaurants Buca and Jacobs & Co. This french-style bistro will be debut late fall and will be located on Ossington, replacing Saint Tavern.

7. Cafe Fiorentina // 463 Danforth

After 5 years of business, Cafe Fiorentina is making a change by moving to a new location. The cozy venue is designed as a Italian country side restaurant and a French styled cafe. There are several delicious items on the menu, such as paninis, quiches, salads, soups and pizzas that are all made in house. It is also a very popular spot for brunch. Many people are looking forward to this new and exciting change!

8. Gusto 501 // 501 King St.E

Many of you are probably familiar with the spectacular sister restaurant of Gusto 501. The east-side version will take up 3 floors and have a very flexible menu, serving Southern-Italian classics similar to those of Gusto 101.

9. Oretta // 633 King st.W

Not much information has been revealed about this chic Italian restaurant, but we are really looking forward to the opening this fall!
