Police in London, Ontario are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 2:30 PM today. The police have confirmed that a man was shot at a local Tim Hortons and has been transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

While the victim has been confirmed in hospital, they have not yet been identified beyond being male. It still remains unclear if the suspect is in custody or is at large.

The Tim Hortons where the shooting occurred is located at 2094 Dundas Street, near Veterans Memorial Parkway. Police are at the scene currently investigating what lead to the shooting.

Narcity has reached out to the London Tim Horton about what lead to the shooting, whether it be an altercation or a random event. They have confirmed they cannot comment on a motive at this time. 

Currently, the location is closed and not serving customers. This status may change as Police continue their investigation.

Tim Horton issued a statement to Narcity through email that states, "The safety of our guests is always important to us. We have spoken to the restaurant owner of this location who has confirmed they are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation by local authorities."
