A New Baby Camel Was Born At The Toronto Zoo And It's Cute AF

The Toronto Zoo is welcoming a new member to their growing family yet again!

Alice, a 20-year-old female Bactrian camel gave birth to a male calf on August 23rd 2016.  The calf is happy and healthy, and is currently being bottle fed by zookeepers. He is currently being kept in the Eurasia Wilds area of the Zoo.

Unfortunately this means the calf will not be viewable until further notice. Though, you may catch a sneak peak of him exercising in the paddock every now and then.  The Zoo has not yet released the name of their newest edition, but we are positive it will be pretty cute.

Be sure to keep up to date with the Toronto Zoo on their social media to see when you'll be able to visit their new camel!
