An Epic Prince/David Bowie Party Is Happening In Toronto This Weekend

Those of you still mourning the tragic celebrity deaths of 2016 may want to head to the Velvet Underground this weekend. This Saturday, the Queen West night club will be hosting a massive video dance party to honour David Bowie and Prince.

The Velvet Underground will be projecting some of the performers' most iconic videos on their walls. Come decked out in your best retro apparel and get ready to dance like it's 1999.

The event takes place on Saturday January 14th from 10PM until 3AM.  There is a $10 cover charge.

The Queen of England's late husband Prince Philip's death has prompted an outpouring of love and tributes online.

Prince Philip Has Passed Away At Almost 100 Years Old

The Queen made the announcement with "deep sorrow."

In a statement from the royal family, the Queen has announced Prince Philip's death.

The notice revealed that the Duke of Edinburgh, who would have turned 100 years old this year "passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle."
