An Oscar-Award Winning Director Is Looking To Hire 100 Extras For His New Film Shooting In Toronto Right Now

If you've ever wanted to be in a big Hollywood movie, this is your shot! A film is coming to Toronto to shoot and they are currently doing an open casting call to find background performers (aka extras).

Extras will be paid $14 per hour and also get to be in a Hollywood movie, so it sounds like a win-win to us. They are looking for 100 extras, both men and women, who are age 18 or older, with an emphasis on extras who are over 30 years old.

The movie is called "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" and will be co-written and produced by Oscar-award winner Guillermo del Toro. It is based on a bestselling series of horror novels aimed for kids by Alvin Schwartz.

Just last year, del Toro won "Best Picture" and "Best Director" for The Shape of Water at The Academy Awards. Michael Garza, Dean Norris, Austin Abrams, Gabriel Rush and Natalie Ganzhorn, among others, will join the cast of "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark".

The movie will be filming next week in Ontario from September 24 to 27, 2018. So make sure to apply online quick because this window of opportunity may not last long.
